Racing Incident Report

When the gates opened, PACIFIC ALLIANCE bounded in the air and lost ground. SHOW BRAVELY was slow to begin. From wide barriers, KINGSTON TEMPLE and DRAGON STRIDE were taken across behind runners in the early stages. After passing the winning post on the first occasion, DRAGON STRIDE was steadied away from the heels of STRIKE TO WIN. At the 1300 Metres, STRIKE TO WIN bumped with FABULOUS TREASURE, causing both horses to become unbalanced. Approaching the 1200 Metres, STRIKE TO WIN was left racing wide and without cover. After the 1200 Metres, WONDER KID, which was proving difficult to settle, got its head up and shifted out when being steadied away from the heels of SINOSPIEL. After this, WONDER KID travelled wide and without cover for the remainder of the race. Making the turn at the 600 Metres, RISING WIN was steadied when crowded for room inside DRAGON STRIDE which got its head on the side and lay in. After the 500 Metres, PACIFIC ALLIANCE got its head on the side and was inclined to hang out when close to the heels of WONDER KID. SERIOUS PLAY, KINGSTON TEMPLE and PACIFIC ALLIANCE were sent for sampling.
