Racing Incident Report
INVINCIBLE HEART began awkwardly. FIERCE FORCE and HERO’S WIN were slow to begin. From the outside barrier, PROSPEROUS was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. Also from a wide barrier, NICHOLSON was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. Near the 850 Metres, NICHOLSON and HERO’S WIN bumped. In the early stages, HAPPY SCORE got its head on the side and hung in and then near the 700 Metres was reluctant to maintain its position inside SUPER GENERAL which shifted in. NICHOLSON, which was following HAPPY SCORE, was steadied in consequence. Making the turn after the 600 Metres, HERO’S WIN got its head on the side and hung out, resulting in HAPPY SCORE being taken wider. NICHOLSON and FIERCE FORCE, which were following, were hampered in consequence. In the Straight, SUPER GENERAL got its head on the side, hung in and proved difficult to ride. Apprentice M L Yeung (TURIN CHAMPION) was reprimanded for permitting his mount to shift in shortly after the finishing line, resulting in AMAZING SKY having to be checked. VINTAGE HUSSLER and PROSPEROUS were sent for sampling.
