Racing Incident Report

On arrival at the Start, AMAZING SKY had its right front plate reset. AMAZING SKY was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race. DRAGON CHOICE began awkwardly and then shortly after the start was crowded for room between FORTUNE TOGETHER and SPICY SHRIMP, both of which shifted ground. In this incident, SPICY SHRIMP became unbalanced when bumped by DRAGON CHOICE. Throughout the race, SPICY SHRIMP travelled wide and without cover. AMAZING SKY and PROSPEROUS were slow to begin. MEGABUCKS was slow to begin and then shortly after the start blundered when close to the heels of TOUT VA BIEN. Approaching the 800 Metres, FLASHING GUY was steadied away from the heels of FORTUNE TOGETHER. Near the 500 Metres, TOUT VA BIEN (O Doleuze) became badly unbalanced and shifted out after being bumped by DRAGON CHOICE which shifted out away from the heels of HOT ASSET. O Doleuze said that after this incident TOUT VA BIEN became very awkward in its action and did not stretch out for the remainder of the race. A veterinary inspection of TOUT VA BIEN after the race did not show any significant findings. A veterinary inspection of DRAGON CHOICE after the race revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm. Before being allowed to race again, DRAGON CHOICE will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. PROSPEROUS, FLASHING GUY and HOT ASSET were sent for sampling.
