Racing Incident Report

NOBODY BUT YOU was slow to begin and shortly after the start blundered after being awkwardly placed close to the heels of TOMODACHI.
SOLAR SPIRIT shifted out at the start and hampered RED LUCKY STAR.
From wide barriers, STAR OF FAME and SURE CHAMP were taken across behind runners shortly after the start.
Approaching the 1100 Metres, CHEERS VICTORIES was checked when crowded for room between DAY DAY HAPPY and TOMODACHI which got its head on the side and shifted out. When DAY DAY HAPPY was shifted out to relieve the tightening to CHEERS VICTORIES, SOLAR SPIRIT, which was following, was shifted out away from the heels of that horse in consequence.
Near the 900 Metres, GOAL AND GOLD got its head on the side and became unbalanced.
Approaching the 400 Metres, NOBODY BUT YOU was awkwardly placed close to the heels of DAY DAY HAPPY which was giving ground. After this, NOBODY BUT YOU raced in restricted room between SURE CHAMP and DAY DAY HAPPY which continued to give ground.
SURFER BOY was held up for clear running in the early part of the Straight and at the 200 Metres bumped CHEERS VICTORIES when shifting out to obtain clear running.
NOBODY BUT YOU had difficulty obtaining clear running after the 200 Metres and near the 200 Metres when shifted out to obtain clear running bumped GOAL AND GOLD which itself got its head on the side and was hanging in.
SURE CHAMP had difficulty obtaining clear running until near the 100 Metres.
Throughout the race, SUPER BROTHER travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of SOLAR SPIRIT after the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Before being allowed to race again, SOLAR SPIRIT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
CHEERS VICTORIES, TOMODACHI and NOBODY BUT YOU were sent for sampling.
