Racing Incident Report

On arrival at the Start, K C Leung, the rider of EASY GOLD, expressed concern to the Veterinary Officer regarding the horse’s action. EASY GOLD was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said after the necessary consultations that the horse was suitable to race.
The Veterinary Surgeon reported that GOOD LUCK WIN, which had made contact with a rail when proceeding to the Start, was found to be suitable to race.
GOLDEN SCALPEL, which was leaning on the inside of its stall, began awkwardly and lost ground.
YOU KNOW I WIN and ROYAL KNIGHT began awkwardly.
Passing the winning post on the first occasion, ROYAL KNIGHT and MASTER GUNNER raced tight as MASTER GUNNER improved into tight running between ROYAL KNIGHT and HEI HEI POSH.
At the 1300 Metres, KING HARADASUN got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of EASY GOLD.
GOOD LUCK WIN travelled wide and without cover until near the 800 Metres and in the Straight gave ground.
After the 400 Metres, MASTER GUNNER was awkwardly placed close to the heels of KING HARADASUN.
Close to the finishing line, FLAME HERO and PERFECT MOMENT raced tight.
After the race, Z Purton reported that although GOOD LUCK WIN was obliged to race wide during the race, nonetheless the horse was disappointing in that it came under pressure prior to the 400 Metres and then weakened out of the race. A veterinary inspection of GOOD LUCK WIN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of HEI HEI POSH immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
PERFECT MOMENT and FLAME HERO were sent for sampling.
