Racing Incident Report

LET US WIN began only fairly and then was ridden along for some distance in the early stages to obtain a more forward position.
ELECTRIC LIGHTNING began only fairly and shortly after the start was steadied when crowded for room between SUCH A HAPPINESS which shifted out after being bumped by TOP ACE and EXCELLENCE which was taken in by MY BLESSING.
When being steadied to obtain cover, DESMIOS got its head up on a number of occasions shortly after the start.
HAY RUN, KING’S MAN and EASY HEDGE were all shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Passing the 1700 Metres, DESMIOS got its head up when awkwardly placed outside the heels of EXCELLENCE.
Passing the 1500 Metres, KING WINSA was steadied away from the heels of MY BLESSING.
Passing the 1150 Metres, SUCH A HAPPINESS, which was travelling keenly, was awkwardly placed inside the heels of EVER LAUGH.
DESMIOS lost its right front plate approaching the 600 Metres.
DESMIOS was unable to obtain clear running from near the 400 Metres until passing the 100 Metres.
Just prior to the finishing line, AEROLUMINANCE and LET US WIN bumped.
Throughout the race, PO CHING TREASURE travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground.
After the race, J Moreira reported that EASY HEDGE was making an abnormal breathing noise. A veterinary inspection of EASY HEDGE immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer”.
A veterinary inspection of PO CHING TREASURE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of KING WINSA immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer”.
EVER LAUGH and HAY RUN were sent for sampling.
