Racing Incident Report

MOST BEAUTIFUL began only fairly.
SO GLORIOUS became badly unbalanced when crowded for room on jumping between JUST NOT LISTENING which shifted in marginally and UNITE SPIRIT which was taken out by HAPPY VICTORY which began awkwardly and shifted out despite the efforts of its rider.
From wide barriers, SMART CHARADE and HOLY HEART were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Making the first turn after the 700 Metres, MOST BEAUTIFUL got its head on the side and lay out.
Near the 500 Metres, UNITE SPIRIT was steadied when crowded for room between MOST BEAUTIFUL and HAPPY VICTORY (H T Mo) which got its head on the side and lay out. H T Mo was severely reprimanded and advised to ensure that in similar circumstances he makes every effort to prevent his mounts from shifting ground and causing crowding to other runners.
At the entrance to the Straight, UNITE SPIRIT was shifted away from the heels of HAPPY VICTORY after being awkwardly placed behind that horse.
Approaching the 200 Metres, UTOPIA LIFE shifted out under pressure and brushed the hindquarters of AQUILA.
Close to the finishing line, M L Yeung (MEGA HEART) dropped his right rein.
After the race, Z Purton stated that, in his opinion, JUST NOT LISTENING prefers to obtain either a soft or outright lead. He said after being challenged in the lead by UTOPIA LIFE, JUST NOT LISTENING was then not able to finish off the race. A veterinary inspection of JUST NOT LISTENING immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
UTOPIA LIFE, AQUILA and MEGA HEART were sent for sampling.
