ADIOS began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped JAZZ CLUB.
From wide barriers, ARMOUR EAGLE and CALL ME TEDDY were steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.
In the early stages, GOLDEN WARSTEED travelled keenly and got its head up on a number of occasions when proving difficult to settle.
Near the 950 Metres, SKY FOREVER was checked away from the heels of GLOBAL HARMONY due to both horses shifting ground.
Near the 850 Metres, TRANSCENDENT got its head up when being steadied to obtain cover behind LUCKY EIGHT.

Throughout the race, JAZZ CLUB travelled wide and without cover.
After the race, Z Purton stated that GLOBAL HARMONY became very worked up in the Parade Ring and behind the barriers. He said at stages in today’s race GLOBAL HARMONY travelled keenly and then in the Straight did not finish the race off which, in his opinion, was attributed to the manner in which the horse became worked up prior to the race. A veterinary inspection of GLOBAL HARMONY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of EXCELLENT DADDY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
LUCKY EIGHT and POWER KOEPP were sent for sampling.
<18/7/2022 Additional Veterinary Reports>GLOBAL HARMONY, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. GLOBAL HARMONY was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D A Hayes yesterday morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right hind leg. Before being allowed to race again, GLOBAL HARMONY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
