| 3 | 8 | DANCING CODE (G365) | Near the 400 Metres became badly unbalanced when bumped on the hindquarters. Near the 300 Metres shifted out and bumped with TUCHEL. After the race, M Chadwick reported that his mount’s saddle shifted back near the 400 Metres as a result of being contacted by ATULLIBIGEAL, placing him at some disadvantage in riding his mount out. |
| 4 | 6 | ATULLIBIGEAL (G173) | Jumped only fairly and then was bumped shortly after the start. The Stewards considered a protest/objection lodged by K De Melo, rider of ATULLIBIGEAL, placed 4th, against DANCING CODE, placed 3rd, alleging interference at the 400 Metres and again approaching the 200 Metres. In considering all the evidence, the Stewards found that near the 400 Metres ATULLIBIGEAL shifted out slightly and made contact with the hindquarters of DANCING CODE, resulting in DANCING CODE being turned in and ATULLIBIGEAL and DANCING CODE becoming unbalanced in this incident. The Stewards further found that near the 200 Metres after ATULLIBIGEAL obtained a narrow run between DANCING CODE and CIRCUIT STELLAR, it then was momentarily crowded when CIRCUIT STELLAR shifted out and away from RED LION and DANCING CODE which shifted in slightly. After considering both incidents in their totality, the Stewards overruled the protest/objection and correct weight was declared on the numbers semaphored by the Judge. K De Melo was advised to exercise more care. |

| FE | 1 | TUCHEL (G345) | Bumped by DANCING CODE near the 300 Metres. Approaching the 100 Metres went amiss in the left front leg and fell. H Bowman was transported to hospital for further assessment. Samples were taken. |
| UR | 7 | FIND MY LOVE (H110) | Approaching the 100 Metres was bumped heavily by TUCHEL when that horse shifted out, resulting in its rider, M L Yeung, being dislodged. M L Yeung was subsequently examined by the Chief Medical Officer and passed fit to fulfil his remaining race riding engagements. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. |
