Racing Incident Report

Pla. Horse No. Horse Incident
4 PRIME MORTAR (G328) Sent for sampling post-race.
9 SPICY GOLD (H440) Bumped a rail on a number of occasions when entering the track, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on arrival at the Start and passed suitable to race. Sent for sampling post-race.
8 LAPRAS (H374) Jumped awkwardly. Lay in when under pressure in the Home Straight.
10 SUPER EAGLE (G408) No report.
6 FAIRY HORSE (J144) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
7 HERCULES (C476) In the early stages when being eased to obtain cover raced tight between SUPER EAGLE and DOUBLE BINGO. Making the first turn lay in, resulting in its rider C L Chau having to correct his mount.
12 HARMONY N HOME (C531) Leaving the 600 Metres was steadied when momentarily crowded by SPICY GOLD (A Badel) which shifted in and away from SIGHT SUPREME when racing tight to the inside of that runner. A Badel was advised to exercise more care.
5 MISTER FOX (J059) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
3 SIGHT SUPREME (J258) After the race, Z Purton reported that his mount travelled well during the early and middle stages of the event and would derive benefit from tonight’s race experience and potentially being stepped up in distance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 HAPPY FEELING (H443) Near the 100 Metres was inconvenienced when crowded between HERCULES and FAIRY HORSE which shifted out.
1 E UNIVERSE (H151) After the race, L Hewitson reported that his mount travelled well in the lead, however, came under pressure on entering the Home Straight and gave ground from that point. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of E UNIVERSE, a last start winner, was considered to be disappointing as compared to its previous race start. Before being allowed to race again, E UNIVERSE will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
2 DOUBLE BINGO (J309) After the race, L Ferraris reported that his instructions were to take up a handy position. He said he was caught wide in the early stages when SUPER EAGLE held its position to his inside and as a result was obliged to make some use of his mount to cross that runner where it raced outside the lead in the early stages. He added that DOUBLE BINGO raced greenly during the event and after being crossed by PRIME MORTAR near the 600 Metres came under pressure before weakening in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
