5 9 PHOENIX LIGHT (G192) After the race, C L Chau reported that his mount hung out when placed under pressure over the final 300 Metres.
6 3 KA YING VICTORY (H287) Jumped only fairly, shifted in and was bumped. Over the final 300 Metres lay in when placed under pressure. After the race, A Badel reported that KA YING VICTORY raced "flat” during the event and failed to run on strongly when he placed his mount under pressure over the final 400 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, KA YING VICTORY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race.
7 7 SOVEREIGN FUND (J402) No report.
8 12 SUPER FORTUNE (G065) On jumping became unbalanced when bumped by ACE VICTORY which shifted out. As a result, SUPER FORTUNE then shifted out and became further unbalanced when it made contact with MOTOMAN. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 8 BRAVE STAR (G268) No report.
10 10 MOTOMAN (J436) Shortly after the start was bumped and became unbalanced. After the race, Z Purton stated that the horse, which was having its first race start in Hong Kong, is still relatively inexperienced and would derive benefit from today’s performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 4 PLEASANT ENDEAVOR (E114) Jumped awkwardly and shortly after the start was bumped on the hindquarters and became unbalanced.
12 11 ACE VICTORY (H076) Shifted out at the start, was bumped and became unbalanced.
