1 1 RIGHTEOUS ARION (H059) Approaching the 300 Metres was checked when disappointed for clear running between VICTORYTHIRTYTHREE and FALCON COURT which shifted out slightly. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 2 TELECOM SPEED (G259) Raced wide and without cover until near the 550 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 12 FALCON COURT (J056) Shortly after the start raced tight.
4 9 ROARING BEBE (H105) Slow to begin. In the Home Straight lay in under pressure and near the 100 Metres its rider Z Purton was obliged to stop riding and straighten his mount when it was positioned close to the heels of TELECOM SPEED.
5 6 SEA SAPPHIRE (H343) No report.
6 3 ERNEST FEELING (E209) Approaching the 800 Metres was bumped on a number of occasions by SAVVY CHIC when both runners contested a position behind PARTY WARRIOR.
7 8 PARTY WARRIOR (E368) Raced wide and without cover from the 600 Metres.
8 11 MASSIVE TALENT (H282) After the race, B Avdulla stated that from a wide barrier he was instructed to ride his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages. Trainer M Newnham confirmed the instructions issued.
9 7 DEEP PURSUIT (H288) Jumped awkwardly.
10 5 VICTORYTHIRTYTHREE (J216) Making the first turn hung out and made the turn wide.
11 4 SAVVY CHIC (G261) Shortly after the start was crowded and made contact with ERNEST FEELING. Despite being ridden along in the early stages failed to show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position. Made contact with ERNEST FEELING on a number of occasions approaching the 800 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, SAVVY CHIC will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
12 10 SUPER TEN (D362) For a short distance near the 900 Metres raced tight between TELECOM SPEED and SEA SAPPHIRE which shifted out slightly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils. Before being allowed to race again, SUPER TEN will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
WV HELLS BELLS (H280) Withdrawn on 6.5.24 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (left front tendon injury) and replaced by second Standby Declared Starter MASSIVE TALENT. Before being allowed to race again, HELLS BELLS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
WV SUGAR BALL (H394) Withdrawn on 6.5.24 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore) and replaced by first Standby Declared Starter SAVVY CHIC. Before being allowed to race again, SUGAR BALL will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
