2 2 FLYING FORTRESS (J445) Bumped on jumping. When questioned regarding his riding over the concluding stages Z Purton stated that in the Home Straight his mount hung in. He said as he approached the finish of the event he heard a call from a rider to his inside and as a consequence he looked in, stopped riding and straightened his mount as he was concerned FLYING FORTRESS was shifting in, crowding runners to his inside. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 6 MAX QUE (J514) Jumped awkwardly, shifted in and made contact with ANOTHER ZONDA. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
4 9 THRIVING BROTHERS (J396) At the finish of the race H Doyle was obliged to stop riding and straighten her mount when it shifted in towards HIGHLAND RAHY.
5 1 HIGHLAND RAHY (J298) No report.
6 5 ANOTHER ZONDA (K176) Bumped on jumping. Between the 250 Metres and the 150 Metres was held up for clear running between HIGHLAND RAHY and SAMARKAND.
7 12 BEAUTY GLORY (E459) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
8 8 SAMARKAND (H070) In the middle stages raced keenly in the lead and approaching the 1000 Metres got its head up when being steadied.
9 11 SOLID WIN (J225) Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and bumped VIVA GRACIOUSNESS. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
10 10 IVY LEAGUE (H116) Over the final 50 Metres could not be ridden out when held up between BEAUTY GLORY and ANOTHER ZONDA. M Barzalona reported that his mount hung in throughout the event and proved difficult to ride out in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 4 STORMING DRAGON (J237) Made contact with the left side of its starting gate on jumping and shortly after shifted out and made contact with FLYING FORTRESS. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 7 VIVA GRACIOUSNESS (J079) Bumped at the start. Near the 900 Metres got its head up when racing ungenerously and being steadied to obtain cover behind IVY LEAGUE. W Buick reported that his instructions were to obtain a midfield position. He said from the 600 Metres VIVA GRACIOUSNESS was under pressure and then gave ground thereafter.
