Racing Incident Report

1 12 SKY TRUST (J161) On jumping made contact with BOTTOMUPTOGETHER due to both runners shifting ground. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 1 MAGIC CONTROL (J333) Sent for sampling post-race.
3 4 INVINCIBLE SHIELD (K168) Near the 900 Metres was steadied to avoid CRIMSON FLASH which shifted out slightly when racing keenly. Raced keenly in the middle stages and for some distance near the 600 Metres was steadied away from SKY TRUST. Between the 300 Metres and the 150 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running and over the final 100 Metres then raced tight between CRIMSON FLASH and MAGIC CONTROL.
4 7 PATCH OF STARS (J343) Approaching the 700 Metres improved to the outside of GORGEOUS WIN and for a short distance later made contact with GORGEOUS WIN when those two runners contested a position behind MAGIC CONTROL.
5 9 CRIMSON FLASH (K173) Raced keenly when being crossed by LADY’S CHOICE near the 900 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.
6 10 MASTEROFMYUNIVERSE (J325) Jumped awkwardly. Raced keenly in the middle stages. In the early stages of the Home Straight lay in and proved reluctant to shift to the outside of PATCH OF STARS.
7 2 BOTTOMUPTOGETHER (J316) On jumping made contact with SKY TRUST due to both runners shifting ground. Over the concluding stages was steadied when it shifted in and away from CRIMSON FLASH. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils. Before being allowed to race again, BOTTOMUPTOGETHER will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
8 8 SON PAK FU (G265) Bumped at the start. Over the final 100 Metres was held up for clear running and could not be ridden out to the finish.
9 5 LADY'S CHOICE (H155) Bumped at the start. Over the concluding stages was steadied when racing tight to the inside of BOTTOMUPTOGETHER which shifted in and away from CRIMSON FLASH. K C Leung could offer no excuse for the horse’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 6 MUGEN (H338) Jumped only fairly. From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. For some distance after the 600 Metres raced keenly and was steadied away from SON PAK FU. Over the concluding stages was steadied when disappointed for clear running to the inside of LADY’S CHOICE.
11 3 GORGEOUS WIN (J008) On jumping became unbalanced when it made contact with LADY’S CHOICE. Near the 700 Metres made contact with PATCH OF STARS. H Bowman stated that his mount’s run ended near the 200 Metres but could offer no excuse for its failure to run on. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 AURORA LADY (J066) Withdrawn on raceday morning by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore). Before being allowed to race again, AURORA LADY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
