3 11 MONEY CATCHER (G171) Slow to begin. Near the 900 Metres was steadied to avoid SNOWFIELD. Approaching the 50 Metres was shifted to the outside of THE AUSPICIOUS to continue into clear running.
4 4 SNOWFIELD (K251) Jumped awkwardly. After passing the winning post SNOWFIELD sustained an injury to the right front leg and was immediately treated by the Veterinarians. After it was determined that the injury was too severe for the horse to be saved SNOWFIELD was euthanised. Samples were taken from the horse.
5 6 ENTHRALLED (K252) No report.

8 7 STURDY RUBY (H207) Bumped on jumping.
9 2 WROTE A NEW PAGE (K226) H Bentley reported that his mount enjoyed a comfortable run during the race outside LIVEANDLETLIVE and did not quicken when asked for an effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 5 TURIN MASCOT (H165) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
11 1 ROMANTIC THOR (K012) Bumped on jumping. H Bowman stated that from a wide barrier the connections agreed that the horse should be ridden in a conservative manner in the early stages. He said ROMANTIC THOR raced too keenly during the race and as a result did not finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 8 CHARITY GAIN (H431) L Hewitson stated that his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and as a result did not run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
