8 J194  EXCEL WONGCHOY  31/05/2025   721  EXCEL WONGCHOY (J194) when questioned rider stated that the instructions were to endeavour to find cover. He said with the hood being removed from the horse it jumped well and when caught wide in the early stages he was obliged to allow his mount to stride forward to cross to the lead. He added, in his opinion, his mount was not suited by being ridden in that manner. Following the race revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 721.
9 H016  PRECISION GOAL  28/06/2025   793  PRECISION GOAL (H016) was examined by the vet on arrival at the Start and found to be lame in its left front leg. Acting on that advice was withdrawn by order of the Stewards. Has since passed an official vet exam - Race 793.

After the event rider stated that his mount raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event and as a result gave ground in the Home Straight.
