He added approaching the 50M after being briefly up behind that runner he elected to shift to the inside of that runner to continue into clear running when he was of the opinion that that runner had shifted out slightly - Race 046.

He said his mount hung in throughout the event and proved difficult to ride. He added that when he was concerned there may be something amiss with its action in the Home Straight he did not ride it out to the finish when not in a competitive position. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Finished tailed out and performance was considered unacceptable. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 024.
