Raced keenly in the early stages. Rider reported that his instructions were to lead the event. He said his mount jumped awkwardly and as a result was slow to begin and was then hampered. He added as a consequence his mount settled further back in the field than intended. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 151.

Rider stated that her mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and as a consequence was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 160.

14 H332  HARRY'S HERO  09/11/2025   160  HARRY'S HERO (H332) jumped awkwardly and then was crowded. From a wide barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages. When questioned rider stated his instructions from a wide barrier were to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages. He said as a consequence his mount settled back in the field where it followed a runner during the race. When questioned regarding his riding near the 500M rider stated that when that runner shifted out at that stage his mount, which was racing keenly, improved to the inside of that runner and therefore he elected to remain in that position with a view to following another two runners into the race. He added after shifting to the outside of a runner near the 400M he commenced to ride his mount along but near the 300M he was disappointed for clear running, which resulted in his mount being held up for clear running between the 300M and the 100M. After considering his explanation the Stewards found the tactics adopted by rider were reasonable in the circumstances - Race 160.
