He said as he commenced to improve that runner gave ground and shifted out slightly which resulted in his mount having to be checked approaching the 200M when unable to continue forward. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 161.

Following the race was examined by the vet who revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 800.
