Rider stated that his mount jumped well and was able to cross to the lead without being unduly pressured to do so. He said he was content in holding this position as his mount had barrier trialed well when ridden in a similar position. Trainer confirmed the instructions were to settle where comfortable and was satisfied with rider’s decision to go forward and lead when it was able to obtain that position with limited pressure being applied - Race 137.
