Prior to declaring weighed-in the Stewards gave consideration if there were grounds for a protest/objections on behalf of the horse which was taken wider by the 3rd placegetter over the concluding stages. When the Stewards were satisfied there were not sufficient grounds to lodge a protest/objection and the connections chose not to, weighed-in was declared on the numbers semaphored by the Judge. - Race 094.

Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Performance was considered unacceptable. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 807.

Making the Home Turn was then taken wider. Rider stated that from the outside barrier he was instructed to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages. Trainer confirmed the instructions and said he issued those instructions as he was of the view there was superior pace drawn to the inside and that the horse had performed disappointingly at the conclusion of last preparation when it was ridden forward to lead from a wide barrier - Race 132.
