3 7 LONGMARK (BT294) H K Yim -- Broke best and then prominent. Kept on in straight and held on at the concluding stages for a minor placing.
4 12 RORY'S BID (BP272) A Marcus B/TT Missed the start and then was inconvenienced, soon dropped to the rear. Given some reminders and steadily improved along the fence to worse than midfield before the home bend. Ran on steadily in straight, just failed to run a place.
5 10 GOOD CHANCE (BV259) D Whyte -- Niggled along to maintain in midfield along the fence. Saved ground on the rail to creep closer rounding the bend. Switched out to improve upon straightening but only kept on the same pace to the line.
6 4 KONRAD THE GREAT (CB059) B Fayd'herbe B Slow to begin and soon dropped to the back. Switched to 3-wide to commence run rounding the home bend but was still 2nd last into straight and over 10Ls behind lead. Made up good late ground.
7 2 COMPANION (CA273) W C Marwing -- Raced wide in midfield, 5 or 6Ls behind pace. Switched to outer to commence run upon straightening but only kept on one pace to the line.
8 8 SALUT BEAUTE (CB189) D Dunn -- Niggled along early to be in touch. Steadily dropped closer to rounding the home bend. Under pressure from 600 M and no extra in straight.
9 6 BULLISH (BP318) S K Sit B Well back. Ran past a few beaten runners concluding stages.
10 1 SCREAMING EAGLE (CB241) C Williams -- Niggled along to maintain in midfield or worse. Made no improvement in straight.
11 3 HOKKIEN ALL (BV341) G Mosse -- Raced prominently but 3 wide until straightening. Kept on until tiring out from 250 M.
12 11 AFFAIRE D'AMOUR (BV139) Y T Cheng B Midfield or worse early. Under pressure from the Rock and steadily dropped to the rear while making the turn. Last into straight and then become further detached.
