2 9 MR PRESIDENT (CA178) C Soumillon B-/SR Jumped well and soon shifted onto rail to race behind leader. At 1200 M dropped to outright 3rd around 1L off leader and stayed there till straightening when asked 300 M out ran on strongly but unable to match speed.
3 7 FLORAL DANCER (CA259) D Whyte -- Broke well and niggled along to take lead on rail with no more than 1L advantage through to straight. Headed around 300 M but stayed on well to keep 3rd place.
4 4 TELECOM PRINCE (BP223) J Spencer -- Pushed along but outpaced to race 2 to 3Ls off pace on rail through to straight. Under pressure around 400 M ran on fairly and missed the 3rd placegetter by a short margin.
5 5 TOUCH DOWN (CB013) C Williams TT Slowly away but soon recovered to race in mid-division around 2-wide. Around 5Ls down and shifted out when entering straight, all out at 200 M and made up steady ground never troubled the placegetters.
6 11 WISHES (BT100) P Smullen P Began well from wide draw and soon raced in better than midfield position around 2-wide. All out around 350 M out but stayed one-paced and further weakened in the final stages.
7 1 LUCKY TIME (CB307) G Mosse -- Began awkwardly and soon raced at back about 2-wide through to straight. Made up some ground in closing stages.
8 6 ACE ACADEMY (BT215) S Dye -- Began fairly and eased to race in rear section on fence. Under pressure 350 M out but did not respond and stayed same pace to the line.
9 2 TORI TOP (CB405) D Dunn -- Jumped awkwardly and soon raced in rear section around 2-wide through to straight. Did not respond to pressure in straight and only ran past couple of beaten runners in the final stages.
10 3 A CANDY (CB190) W C Marwing B Soon raced in mid-division but caught wide without cover. Stayed in similar position through to straight, stayed one-paced when put under pressure at 300 M and weakened in final stages.
11 8 MARIPOSA (CA342) G Schofield B/TT Raced in worse than midfield section on rail through to straight. Stayed on evenly to the line.
12 12 OH GREAT (CB288) M W Leung -- Raced in rear section towards the outside. At 600 M hard ridden to maintain position and weakened badly after 200 M.
