3 9 TOUCH DOWN (CB013) C Williams B2/TT Jumped best before dropping steadily from wide alley to the rear but on rail near 1000 M. About 4Ls back at 600 M. Steadied at 300 M before finishing well to grab 3rd inside 100 M.
4 12 FRIENDS FOREVER (CD245) G Schofield SR/B2 Took lead near 1100 M. Kept on in straight when under constant pressure from the winner. Headed 300 M out and struggled home final 100 M.
5 14 PAY-DAY (CD182) D Dunn SR/TT In touch and within 2Ls off the speed. Kept on evenly without posing any threat to placed horses in straight.

7 6 TURF GOLD (CD342) H W Lai B Niggled forward early but proved difficult to settle and had to be steadied off heels at 1200 M. 2Ls back from 1000 M. Very one-paced in straight.
8 4 MAGNIFICENT HORSE (CD103) O Doleuze V Thereabout early. Dropped back to behind midfield 900 M out. 2 to 3Ls back rounding the turn. Wide turning in. Made up some late ground without posing any threat.
