6 EXCELLENT BOY (CE238) G Mosse -- Began with rest, took hold to settle behind pace in midfield, raced 3-4Ls away on rails, had cosy run and not asked in mid-section, gained split between horses at 150 M, sprinted hard and drew clear for easy win.
4 FIVE GRAINS (CB280) A Delpech -- Poor to begin as usual and taken straight to tail, ridden cold 2-wide 8Ls off leaders, still had field to beat on bend, stuck to rails and closed hard last 200 M coming between horses to grab 2nd.
9 DASH AHEAD (CD199) K T Yeung SR Standard break, lacked enough speed to be better than midfield, raced on rails 6Ls away, had easy time thereafter, pushed up to be 4Ls down on turn, came between horses and closed well when clear at 150 M.
8 SUNBELL (CB391) K W Tsui CP Began with field, settled closer than usual in midfield 3Ls down at mid-point, travelled well passing Rock, came with 3-wide run on turn, threatened at 200 M but only kept same pace to line.
1 FAMOUS DANCER (CD353) O Doleuze -- Began awkwardly, drifted back to settle in rearward division, raced 2-wide worse than midfield 6Ls off pace, travelled well in run, still had job to do on turn, came 4 and 5-wide and closed hard to be closest at finish.
10 KOWLOON FIT (CE247) F Coetzee -- Began fairly, gathered speed to assume usual prominent role at leaders girth, on steel throughout and had easy time when speed backed off, challenged on circle, hit lead and fought on to 150 M just tiring last bit.
11 HEALTHY WEALTHY (CC067) M Nunes CP1 Hit ground evenly, showed enough dash to cross into 1 out 1 back spot from wide alley, had no problems in run, relaxed well and came with 3-wide run into straight, there until 200 M but faded out late.
7 DORDENMA (CE333) D Whyte -- Fair to break, showed turn of foot early to hold position on leaders back, relaxed well and travelled nicely, pursued inside run on turning and had plenty to offer before severely checked at 200 M and not tested to line.
5 CALIFORNIA BISHOP (CD351) C K Tong TT Fast into stride, took up lead leaving straight, backed off speed well in mid-section after early burn, challenged on circle, lost advantage on turning in, fought on but couldn't find last 200 M.
2 AMPLE GAINS (CE021) R Fradd B- Steady to begin, settled just worse than midfield when unable to get close, raced 2-wide 5-6Ls from them, circled 4-wide and made some ground but found no extra last 200 M and was one-paced to line.
3 ELECTRONICS SPUR (CE285) K L Chui TT Unbalanced and lost ground at break, forced to race further back than usual 7Ls away on rail, always rearward to turn, came to outside, made little impression from well back in run home.
12 WONG'S FAVOURITE (CG131) S K Sit SR Average to break, ridden along early, posted 3-wide without cover 6Ls off pacemakers, never really travelling, began to struggle from Rock, weakened out to be well beaten in straight.
