7 HONEST TREASURE (CE200) K L Chui B/TT Midfield with cover about 5Ls off pace until home straight, still with 4Ls to make up at 200 M, rallied strongly to get up on the line.
4 SMARTY FACE (CE051) D Whyte B Led by 1L on fence at 1000 M, 2Ls to the good at final bend and 3Ls clear at 200 M, tired late and grabbed right on the line.
11 SILLY BOY (CC094) F Coetzee B/TT Niggled along despite having the box run on fence 2Ls off pace in 3rd early on, 3Ls down in 3rd at home turn, stayed on well for pressure and very nearly got up to win.
8 SPLENDID SAILS (CG077) B Prebble V- At least 7Ls off pace towards rear until home turn, ran on very well in home straight and wasn't far away at the finish.
3 GOOD VIEW SUCCESS (CE237) C W Wong TT Settled in rear about 8Ls off pace through to home turn, stayed on well along inside fence on the run to be nearest at finish.
9 MASTER YING (CB249) K S Yu B Raced in 2nd place out 2-wide and between 1L and 2Ls off speed through to straightening for home, one-paced thereafter.
12 WONDERFUL WORLD (CG133) H K Yim -- About 4Ls back in 5th or so until home straight, failed to quicken up in the finish though not helped by a bump about 100 M out.
2 SUPER BALL (CD064) G Mosse B-/PC2 About 4Ls back in 6th or so until home straight, always lacked the dash of the principals.
6 MOSHI MOSHI (CG255) E Saint-Martin -- Always worse than midfield at least 6Ls off the speed, under pressure turning for home near the rear, never dangerous despite making some minor late ground.
1 CHATER DE LAGO (CG246) O Doleuze B/TT Didn't break well out wide and soon about 7Ls behind near rear and 3-wide with cover, under pressure turning for home, posed little threat despite moderate late headway.
5 MANZIL (CH115) S Dye -- Inauspicious debut, slowest away, soon 10Ls last, stayed there.
10 EXPLORATION (CE322) K T Yeung B Prominent position but 3-wide no cover throughout, hung out 600 M out and back-pedalling when 4-wide off home turn, very poor in the finish.
