3 3 GREENESSY (CE001) Y T Cheng CP Eased at start to get across the rail towards rear, travelled nicely 5-1/2Ls behind the leaders, benefited by the fast pace, swept towards the middle of the straight and progressed steadily 300 M to run 3rd.
4 5 LIBERAL'S CHOICE (CC345) D Nikolic -- Pushed to gain early lead along the rail, took sit just behind leader 1200 M, applied pressure outside the leader 600 M, harmed by the fast pace, overhauled 250 M, but stuck on well to the line.
5 10 BEST POWER (CG006) S Dye -- Eased to rear as usual, 1-wide early, about 6Ls behind the leaders benefited by the fast pace, progressed along the rail at Home Bend, lacked room in straight, made ground again 150 M. (See Racing Incidents.)
6 6 SUPER WONGCHOY (CB318) M Nunes -- Settled along the rail about midfield, helped by the fast pace, lacked room 300 M, just held ground when clear.
7 8 CHAMPION KING (CE219) D Whyte -- Tried to sit just off the leaders 1-wide early, however raced too keenly and moved up 1200 M to lead along the rail, pressured 600 M, not suited by the fast tempo, flat at 200 M and finished only fairly.
8 11 WINNING REWARD (CE254) C W Wong B Pushed to hold the rail spot just behind the leaders, 1-1/2Ls off the fast pace, used up the fuel too early, lacked room in straight but didn't show any turn of foot.
