12 SUPER GOAL MASTER (CG220) S Dye TT Awkward break, switched to fence and towards rear about 7Ls off speed at halfway, 6Ls to make up on straightening, knifed through the field well to lead 50 M out, cosily.
8 PEARL OF INDIA (CD298) O Doleuze B 2-wide and 1L back in 2nd at 1100 M, a neck down in 2nd when hanging out entering homestetch, led 300 M out but grabbed by winner at 50 M, hung on for 2nd.
3 RICH FOR ALL (CG023) D Whyte B Settled in about 8th place with cover and 5Ls off early pace, ridden to take closer order on straightening, stayed on fairly to be nearest at the finish and just nick a place.
1 LUCKYME (CH012) Y T Cheng TT Ideally placed on fence 2Ls off speed in 3rd or 4th although a little unbalanced at 1000 M, same position at home turn, had every chance to at least place but lacked the dash.
13 JOYFUL WORLD (CC200) H W Lai B/TT Awkward break but soon recovered to take customary place in front, 1L clear on fence at 1100 M, headed 300 M out but didn't capitulate and only just missed a place.
9 ARISTOCRACY (CG070) E Saint-Martin -- Slowly away, midfield about 5Ls off pace at halfway and same margin behind when ridden along taking the home turn, stayed on dourly and never nearer.
2 PROPELLOR (CE263) W M Lai -- About 8Ls off pace in rear bunch early, switched out into clear running entering straight when about 7Ls off pace in 12th, ran on strongly late and nearest at the finish.
4 HAPPY MASTER (CE050) G Mosse SR Towards rear about 7Ls off pace early, forced wider (4-wide) turning for home when same margin behind the speed, ran on quite well late down centre of track and never nearer.
5 MASTER DREAMER (CE293) P H Lo B 4-back on fence about 5Ls off pace in midfield before being held up off home turn, steadied again at 200 M when still over 4Ls behind, may have finished slightly closer.
11 AMAZING CHOICE (CG163) B Prebble B Tardy start but raced 3-back the fence about 4Ls off pace in 5th at 1000 M, similarly placed off home turn but could only plug on at the one speed.
6 WINNING CAT (CD123) A Starke SR-/CP- 2-wide and 3Ls back in 4th at 1000 M, still in a challenging position off final bend and all out to get 2Ls down in 3rd at 200 M. Weakened late.
14 CELESTIAL WONDER (CG046) M W Leung XB/TT2 Never travelled well early and soon 8Ls last and further back when detached turning for home, made some very minor late ground. (Epiglottic entrapment.)
10 BRIGHT AND GAY (CE048) A Delpech B-/CP1 Always worse than midfield and no closer than 5Ls from the pace, beaten over 200 M and eased late. (Dynamic phargyneal collapse.)
