10 MEDIC POWER (CG303) B Prebble -- Jumped nicely, restrained to find cover in midfield, raced 3 wide 3 to 4Ls back with a nice trail to bend, travelled nicely turning in, made a strong sprint from 350 M to hit lead at 200 M, went on to account for them easily.
9 HIGH POINT (CH215) E Saint-Martin -- Slowly away, mustered speed to keep touch behind midfield, raced 3 wide with cover 5 to 6Ls back, tracked eventual winner on bend, into clear in straight and kept coming making good ground but easily held by winner.
12 DRAGON AND GOLD (CD244) C W Wong -- Bounced out best and rolled on to lead, dictated 1L clear at an even tempo, still held advantage on turning, fought to 200 M but lacked the extra gear to go with the first two. Solid.
6 ALWAYS GIGGLE (CG086) G Mosse SR-/B1 Began in line, unable to show early toe, raced midfield 4 to 5Ls back on rails, had a quiet run to bend, stuck to rails and made good ground before stopped at 200 M, clear last 100 M and sprinted hard to nearly make 3rd.
5 GOLD MEDAL WINNER (CE165) O Doleuze B Jumped well, up challenging for front. Took a trail and had run of race on leaders back, close enough on bend, in traffic to 300 M, made some ground when clear but lacked extra gear late.
4 SOLAR MIGHTY (CH124) H W Lai TT1 Out with line, soon settled in midfield, raced 2 wide 5Ls back between horses, back in traffic to bend, not much of a clear run until 200 M and made some ground when clear though never really likely.
1 MULTI MILLIONS (CD207) C K Tong SR Began fairly, outpaced and taken back from a wide alley to race on the rails 6Ls away, had a quiet time to bend, still well back turning in, made good ground late to be closest at finish. Unsuitable trip.
2 CHATER POWER (CG312) K L Chui B/TT Bounced evenly. Showed dash to be up outside the leader soon after, raced at leaders girth to bend, had chance to challenge with moderate tempo but found little when pressed and struggled last 200 M.
3 HAR HAR CHARMS (CE100) D Whyte -- Jumped OK, slotted into coveted 1 out 1 back spot, didn't settle and came 3 wide to avoid pocket on bend, 1 to 2Ls down on turning, had chance but failed to finish off last 200 M and weakened late when run ended.
13 DANEHILL WARRIOR (CB452) P H Lo B/TT Began well, took a sit behind the speed, settled 3 back on fence, had a cosy run to turn and eased 2 wide turning, found little when asked and weakened out of it late.
14 I'M NO SQUARE (CG078) S Dye TT Standard break, restrained from wide alley to race at tail, lobbed along at rear throughout 8 to 9Ls back, still at back on turning, switched out and closed off fairly passing some tired runners late.
7 CALL ME CULLEN (CH113) Y T Cheng -- Average jump, settled 3 wide behind midfield, tracked 4 wide with cover on circle 5 to 6Ls back, under pressure on turning, found little when asked and only plodded away in straight.
8 OPERATION SECRET (CH081) F Coetzee -- Moderate getaway, behind midfield but pressed on 3 wide without cover with average speed, always working 4 wide to bend, flat out at 300 M and dropped out when condition gave out at 200 M.
11 BULB TREASURE (CH048) K S Yu -- Standard beginning, in midfield but went on 4 and 5 wide to take closer order, 2 to 3Ls back widest without cover on bend, had run took toll and lost touch from 300 M.
