4 8 KOWLOON FIT (CE247) F Coetzee -- Began well, positioned first without cover 2Ls away, crept forward despite even pace to be 1L down at Rock, challenged strongly at 200 M but lacked dash, kept on gamely to make frame.
5 10 SILVER MARK (CE226) S K Sit V/TT No early pace, raced at tail 8Ls from leaders, assisted by even tempo, 2-wide from mid-point, made a 4-wide run on bend, made plenty of ground widest in straight to be not far away in finish.
6 2 MASTERY (CC176) Z Purton TT Not much dash from gates, settled a bit closer 5Ls away in running line, had easy time throughout, 3Ls back turning, got back to inside and made steady progress final furlong.
7 7 SEASONS KNACK (CC242) H W Lai -- Ordinary break, ridden up to race 6Ls back behind midfield on rails, overraced a touch when pace backed off at 900 M, near to last turning, ran into traffic problems in straight and made solid progress despite checked passage.
8 1 KINGSGATE GLORY (CH020) G Mosse V/TT Slow into stride, forced to race further back than expected 3 to 4Ls away on rails, not asked in mid-section, tracked well on bend, made good progress between horses in stretch to be nearest on line.
9 3 INDUSTRIAL SUCCESS (CC317) C W Wong -- Began with purpose, elected for a trail, 3Ls behind leaders having an easy time in mid-section, saved ground but urged along on bend, kept to inside but lacked turn of foot just battling to line.
10 4 LUCKY MONEY (CE159) Y T Cheng -- Standard jump, went forward in search of lead, took over on first bend, did share of work early but backed off tempo at mid-point, joined on bend, under pressure on turning, faded tamely from 200 M.
11 5 ON SHAN BRAVE (CH230) E Saint-Martin B-/SR1/V1 Out well, lead early before relinquishing on first bend, had a fair trip behind leader, niggled along on bend, found little on turning, very one-paced thereafter dropping right out.
