3 12 CLASSIC HORSE (CD378) Z Purton -- Away fairly, raced in midfield on outside, 3Ls back at midpoint, shifted out to make run at 400 M, closed race off soundly for a placing.
4 11 MAGIC KING (CH182) D Beadman B/XB Modest break, ended up towards last few on outside 4Ls off pace, back behind horses at midpoint, angled into clear at 250 M and did best work late to make frame.
5 1 OWNERS LAD (CG273) E Saint-Martin B Out in line, took a spot in middle of pack 3Ls off lead, made run from 400 M, took gradual ground off leaders last furlong without really threatening.
6 2 JADE DANCER (CE170) S K Sit CP Showed usual pace, took a trail behind leader on outside rail, hung from 600 M point, struggled when sprint went on, same pace late.
7 10 SUPER CEE JAY (CG289) P H Lo B/TT1 Bounced out, shared lead towards middle of course at a sensible tempo, failed to quicken from 400 M, condition gave out late.
8 9 PEARL HALO (CJ023) G Boss -- Not much early pace, ended up 4Ls back at tail on stand side, niggled along from midpoint, got going from 200 M and closed off evenly late. (See Racing Incidents.)
9 14 EXCELLENT PLASTIC (CH263) M W Leung TT Out in line, raced in midfield well off rails, ridden along when 3Ls down at 400 M, offered little over concluding stages.
10 8 MASTER OF SHAVERS (CJ026) G Mosse XB1 Began well, had enough pace to race 1L back a few horses from outside rail, still there at 300 M before condition gave out and weakened late.
11 7 GOLDEN TREASURE (CJ087) O Doleuze -- Well enough to jump, raced close to lead towards outside rail, close enough at 300 M but had nothing to offer when they sprinted gradually fading out.
12 5 ELEPHANT STAR (CH323) M Nunes -- Slow into stride, raced in midfield 3Ls back towards middle, travelled reasonably at 400 M but lacked extra gear and struggled late.
13 3 AIPODER IMAGE (CJ031) H W Lai B1 No early toe, ended up towards rear 4Ls off pace, raced greenly and shifted at 400 M, offered little thereafter.
14 4 ATTENTIVE RUNNER (CH156) D Whyte -- Tardy to begin, recovered at came across to be 2Ls down in middle of course, overraced and raced keenly in middle stages. Compounded quickly last 300 M. (Lame morning after.)
