3 8 LONDON EXPRESS (CH107) G Mosse -- Hard ridden to occupy the box seat, benefited by the slow pace and the rail-run, however just held ground in last quarter to finish 3rd.
4 1 DASH AHEAD (CD199) H W Lai SR Pushed early to keep up with the field at back, 5-1/2Ls off the leader along the fence, harmed by the slow pace, dashed well last 200 M.
5 12 FANTASTIC GUY (CH025) C W Wong B-/CP1 At rear, 7-1/2Ls off the leader on the rails, hard ridden from 800 M, lacked response until 200 M, closed the race off strongly despite not suited by the slow pace.
6 2 NORTHERNER (CD293) G Boss XB Eased to sit about midfield along the fence, travelled nicely 4Ls off the leader, not suited by the slow tempo, just held ground in final stages.
