4 MEDICO (CH075) D Beadman -- Taken back from an awkward alley, ended up 2nd last 8Ls from leaders, aided by an even tempo, switched wide in straight and closed off hard making remarkable late ground.
6 WISE LOVER (CE095) D Whyte B No pace as usual, positioned nearer to rear 7Ls away on rails, used little in run, still had plenty to do on turning, improved between horses at 300 M, did best work last 200 M to snatch place.
7 BULLISH WIN (CH197) E Saint-Martin CP-/B1/TT Well enough away, pressed on from a high draw to raced 2 to 3Ls back in 2 wide line, improved 3 wide on circle, challenged at 250 M, kept on well to be right there in bunched finish.

8 HOLIDAY SUN (CJ328) M Du Plessis CP1/XB1 No early pace, ended up 8Ls back on rails with last few, helped by genuine tempo, still well back turning, gradually worked into clear at 200 M and kept on well to be nearest on line.
2 BEST FRIEND (CH240) B Prebble B Restrained from a wide gate, ended up at tail 9 to 10Ls off pace, aided by early pace, set a huge task when still last turning in, switched widest and made solid impact but couldn't pair back margin.

1 BEAUTY EXPRESS (CJ284) O Doleuze -- Out only fairly, ended up with 1 out 1 back spot 2 to 3Ls back, no excuses in run, close enough on turning, held up from bend to 200 M, just held ground behind them when clear.
10 MAGIC SWEEP (CH299) Z Purton B Began in line, rolled forward to race outside leader, had reasonable run after speed slackened, 1/2Ls down on turning, then to 200 M but condition gave out late and weakened.
3 ABOVE ALL (CJ215) C K Tong -- Jumped with them, shifted back to race 6Ls away in midfield, not asked in mid-section, urged along to improve at 400 M, gave some response in straight but never really threatened (checked late).
9 EIGHT PLUS NINE (CH259) Y T Cheng B Standard beginning, raced 7 to 8Ls back in 2 wide line, helped by tempo, steadied 900 M, in traffic on turning to 200 M, finished only fairly but race over when clear.
