2 7 MULTO EXPRESSO (CG098) D Beadman CP Began well. Soon held back for cover racing in midfield. Remained same into straight. Ran on nicely to be nearest at finish.
3 12 WARM EMBRACES (CJ162) M Du Plessis -- Travelled wide behind midfield. Produced for a run over 200 M out. Ran home well to do best work late.
4 3 ADD THE FUN (CD308) O Doleuze B Began with others. Restrained to race wide in midfield. Soon came under pressure to challenge upon straightening. Finished off race nicely. (Tactic questioned.)
5 8 THE WITCH'S BROOM (CH231) B Doyle B Broke well. Held up to race 2-wide in 4th within 3Ls of slow pace. Similar turning in. Could only keep on steadily without quickening.
6 2 WINNING FELLOWSHIP (CG146) Z Purton B-/TT Tucked away on rails in last few. Ran home well to produce good impression late.
7 11 VERY FIT (CE071) F Coetzee XB/TT Midfield early. Made swift headway around field stables bend to gain one-out-one-back position into far side. Still chasing leader turning for home but soon weakened under pressure.
8 10 WAIT FOR ME (CE332) E Saint-Martin TT Settled at the back. Trailed the field to straight. Made good headway past well beaten horses down centre of straight.
9 6 POS TRUMPS (CH295) D Whyte -- Broke well from the widest barrier. Settled well behind. Made no impression in straight.
10 9 HAPPY CRUSADER (CE080) Y T Cheng V/TT- Gradually moved up from a high draw to take up running coming out of home straight. Set slow second and third quarter sectionals. Tiring badly when headed over 200 M out.
11 4 NOBLE HEART (CC355) C K Tong B/TT Settled on rails just better than midfield in 5th. Similar when 3Ls behind turning in. Did not find much room the length of straight. Steadied 100 M out.
