3 2 YELLOW DIAMOND (CD246) C K Tong B Bounced out, taken to a handy position on the rail just behind leader, found daylight on the inside 300 M out, dashed well to finish a creditable 3rd, not beaten far.
4 1 POCKET MONEY (CE253) M Du Plessis B Away with them, assumed a rearward spot on the rail racing 4Ls back, switched out on straightening, picked up well but ran into traffic near 200 M, ran home strongly when cleared inside 100 M.
5 9 KING ENCOSTA (CG247) B Doyle TT Jumped well from the outside barrier, unable to slot in and was forced wide without cover, within striking distance turning home, threatened with a strong run inside 300 M, briefly led but was outrun last 100 M.
6 8 TIBER (CD155) E Saint-Martin XB/TT Well enough away, rolled forward to settle in a prominent 4th, tracked well to turn, brought with a challenge near 300 M, came through between horses but run flattened over concluding stages.
7 14 FLEET COMMAND (CK077) D Whyte -- Reasonable jump, ran a touch keen early, up with the pace approaching the turn but was 3-wide without cover, under pressure 300 M out, kept on one-paced to line.
8 5 MASTER POWER (CG318) D Beadman B Jumped fairly, maintained a midfield position racing 3-wide ridden out from 350 M, took time to gather but no clear passage from 250 M to 50 M. Not fully tested.
9 10 MY CHOICE (CC283) Y T Cheng B Away with rest, rolled forward to take up running on the rail at a steady pace, pressed by runner on the outside, all out 350 M but was soon overhauled, weakened inside 100 M.
10 12 SURVEY SURVEY (CH070) H W Lai XB/TT Pushed along to maintain a position in midfield 3Ls back, well covered turning for home, had to wait for a gap inside 400 M, found little when asked and could beat tired runners only.
11 4 FULL OF JOY (CG293) G Mosse -- Standard break, parked on the rail in mid-division, shuffled back on turning, kept to inside on straightening, lacked a finishing burst, faded inside 100 M.
12 11 SILVER SUN (CE126) M L Yeung -- Broke well, taken forward to share lead on the outside, found nothing when asked 350 M out, dropped off rapidly from 200 M.
