2 INSPIRATION (CG111) G Mosse XB/TT Proved no fluke about his HK Sprint victory. Always going easy behind leader on the stands' rail, picked up well inside 400 M and finished the race with a real flourish. In charge near 100 M.
7 YELLOW DIAMOND (CD246) C K Tong B Travelled prominently in the group towards the centre of track, responded well under pressure near 350 M, ran on strongly but was just out-sprinted by the winner. Emerged from this race with plenty of credit.
3 ENTHUSED (CH303) D Whyte -- One of the very few horses that raced towards the inside. Up with the pace from the start, he was sent on near 300 M and kept giving to line. Hung out over the final 250 M.
1 SACRED KINGDOM (CG268) Y T Cheng TT First appearance after a long break. Away well enough, tracked leader on the inside, gradually picked up passing 350 M, ran on well but was carried out inside 100 M, checked close home.
8 KILDARE (CJ198) W C Marwing SR Reasonable jump, in mid-division toward the centre of track but never far off from the pace, brought with a challenge inside 400 M, quickened ok but unable to find extra inside 200 M when the race got serious.
6 RIVER JORDAN (CG194) J Winks TT Lacked early speed, settled 1-off the stands' rail and 2 back, moved into clear inside 500 M, raced tight for some distance near 200 M, finished off the race reasonably over a trip that may be a shade too short.
4 SUNNY POWER (CG203) O Doleuze CP/H Checked shortly after start, opted to race in the small group towards the inside rail 2 back from leader, pushed inside 350 M but found less than expected under pressure. Never threatened.
10 SKYVIEW BAR (CG024) J Victoire CP-/B1 Awkwardly away, crossed to race towards stands' rail and was handily placed in a prime position, brought with a run near 350 M but was unable to sustain effort, faded inside the final 150 M.
11 FRIENDLY GAINS (CG300) C Soumillon -- Broke well, showed early speed to go forward and secured a rail position on the stands' side, led steadily going into final 400 M, asked for effort 300 M out but failed to respond, soon overhauled and weakened.
9 DIM SUM (CH226) Z Purton CP Always prominent and raced as leader in the group towards the centre, struggled to sprint with them passing 400 M, weakened gradually towards the finish.
12 NIGHTLIGN (CJ145) M Du Plessis -- Shifted out abruptly after jumping from a low barrier, switched to race towards the stands' side passing 800 M and lost some ground in the process, 3Ls back in last going into final 400 M, failed to pick up at all and was disappointing.
5 SANZIRO (CE208) B Doyle B/XB/TT Bumped shortly after start, settled in a rearward position in the group towards the centre, ran on very one-paced inside 400 M before dropping away towards the finish.
