1 EGYPTIAN RA (CE002) M Chadwick TT In mid-division early but gradually crept forward to lead approaching 900 M, kept on well inside 350 M despite hanging in and difficult to be ridden out. Just held on.
4 FELLOWSHIP (CG292) K C Leung TT Settled behind midfield and used little in run, steadied near 300 M but thereafter quickened impressively to nearly win the race.
9 EXPRESS WIN (CJ042) B Prebble TT Up with the early pace, always prominent in 3rd, strongly challenged the race leader inside 250 M but was always held.
5 JOY AND FUN (CH014) B Doyle CP Handily placed in a position ahead of midfield, had a smooth trip to straight, picked up well passing 300 M, nearest at finish.
10 GALLANT LION (CG243) Z Purton V/H Held inside running in midfield, waited with until 350 M, progressed steadily inside 200 M, kept on late.
3 SIGHT WINNER (CJ049) O Doleuze -- Broke well but was taken back to mid-division, travelled 3-wide throughout and no cover from 800 M, held every chance in straight, ran on nicely towards the line.
7 EYSHAL (CJ099) D Beadman B/TT Eased to the rear on jumping, given a patient ride and was 7Ls down entering the straight, steadied and shifted out near 400 M for a clear run, stayed on strongly towards the finish.
8 REGENCY DRAGON (CH001) J Winks B/TT Led steadily on rails till 900 M, driven 300 M out, found little and weakened quickly final 100 M.
11 NOBLE CONQUEROR (CG169) Y T Cheng P Towards the rear 7Ls back and saved ground on the inner, pressed on inside 500 M, made some headway from off the pace but offered little threat.
2 HAWKES BAY (CG064) W Pike XB Slow to begin, placed behind midfield 5 to 6Ls off the pace, switched to 3-wide making the final turn, plugged on in straight but never dangerous.
6 JACKPOT DELIGHT (CJ101) W C Marwing -- Settled in midfield 5Ls back, well covered throughout, stayed on inside 400 M but not pace to challenge.
12 NIGHTLIGN (CJ145) J Lloyd -- Close up behind leaders, was a shade keen and had to be restrained, ridden 350 M out, soon outpaced.
