12 EASY AHEAD (CK212) T H So V Bustled along after the start, soon led them on the fence and dictated the pace, kicked home 350 M, drifted out to centre of track under pressure but kept on well to hold off his persuers.
2 JUGGERNAUT (CJ019) G Mosse B-/V1/TT Close up behind leaders and well placed throughout, kept on determinedly inside 300 M but not able to reel in the winner.
4 MELLIFLUOUS (CH212) D Whyte XB/TT Restrained to a 2-wide spot in mid-division, travelled strongly to straight and made steady progress from 300 M to be nearest on the line.
10 SLEEP WELL (CK036) O Doleuze B Crossed to the fence soon after the start, in midfield 5Ls back making the turn, had an uninterrupted run down the inside, stayed on well towards the finish.
1 BILLION (CH316) Y T Cheng -- Behind leader, unsettled by the slackening tempo near 1000 M and shifted to one out one back entering the back straight, all out in straight but not reach the winner, weakened final 100 M. (Trainer and jockey questioned.)
8 MASTER GUNNER (CJ142) D Beadman XB Dropped back, patiently held up 9Ls behind leaders, made his move 500 M out, made steady headway down the outside but offered little threat to the leaders.
11 FLORAL PICASSO (CJ225) W M Lai TT Gradually crossed to a 2-wide spot in midfield, moved closer to leaders over the home turn, held every chance in straight but couldn't find the extra to challenge. (Trainer and jockey questioned on racing position.)
7 LHOJONG (CG281) B Prebble -- Travelled 2-wide behind mid-division, pushed along inside 400 M, stayed on final 200 M but not reach leaders.

5 MAN IN THE MIRROR (CH058) W Pike -- Towards the rear, more than 6Ls down passing 400 M but not really picking up from off the pace. Never a factor.

3 LUMINOUS (CE300) K C Leung -- In touch behind leaders and raced 3-wide without cover down the back straight, outpaced halfway round the home turn, beaten and eased final 200 M.
