1 SICHUAN SUCCESS (L307) D Whyte TT First away, took a trail racing 1 out 1 back, travelled well to bend, let down strongly and put rivals to the sword final 300m to score easily by a big margin.
3 ELEGANCE DESIRE (L102) D Beadman XB Showed some early speed, but settled off pace 4Ls back on rails in midfield, tracked into race turning, made sound progress down middle just snaring 2nd late, found winner in a different class.
4 FAMILISTS (M102) T Angland H Positioned ideally on leaders back, had nice trip in transit to turn, angled clear and stayed on gamely but no match for winner.
14 TREASURE GOLD (M233) G Cheyne -- Settled 3 wide behind midfield, 6-7Ls back, didn’t settle but had cover on circle, chased soundly down middle making many lengths to make frame.
2 ST FEVRE (L002) M Chadwick TT Raced further back than usual, 6Ls or so back on rails, used little in mid section, made some ground in straight without looking likely.
9 ELEGANCE KLAMMER (M228) W C Marwing H/TT1 Settled just off midfield 5-6Ls back in two wide line, travelled on turning but couldn’t see daylight rounding bend, made some late ground once eventually clear.
7 MOONWALK (L083) B Doyle H- Bounced out, pressed on to take lead, set an even tempo in front, passed soon after 400m and just kept on at same speed thereafter.
6 BEAUTY GLOW (M303) B Prebble TT1 Began in line, worked forward from a wide alley to race outside lead, fair run to turn, unable to lift a notch and condition gave out at 300m, gradually faded.
12 THE UNTOUCHABLELAD (CK398) T H So B No speed, failed to muster and was a clear last early, did work to catch up in mid section, still last turning, made some progress along inside, fair run given circumstances.
5 ENHANCED (L300) J Lloyd B Drifted back from a tricky alley, 3 wide behind midfield 6Ls or so away, same margin back to bend, whacked away in straight. (Blood in trachea.)
11 TAVERNER (CK227) Z Purton B/TT Taken back from an outside alley, raced near rear 2 wide 7Ls or so back, still well back turning and only made modest ground late.
10 UNION'S STAR (CK117) C W Wong -- No speed, raced 3 and 4 wide 7Ls back at rear, made some minor ground turning but run ended at 200m and showed little thereafter.
8 ABSOLUTE FANTASY (M284) Y T Cheng -- Out with them, stuck 3 wide without cover in midfield, did it tough to bend 4Ls or so back, soon dropped out when pressure was applied.
13 INDIGO WAY (M227) H W Lai -- Ended up in midfield, 2 wide 4-5Ls back, struggling on turning, dropped right out.
