14 DR GOOD HABIT (N300) D Whyte P Began well, was electing or a trail but overaced and allowed to slide to lead, always travelling at terms to suit, booted clear soon after turning, went on to score by a big margin with ease.
2 CHANCELLOR (M347) O Doleuze B/TT Showed usual speed to lead, took a trail when favorite took over, had fair run in mid-section, right there turning, unable to dash with eventual winner and battled away for a distant 2nd.
1 WINNING INSTINCT (N121) C Y Lui B Checked at start and settled further back than intended, shared rear 9ls or so off top end, still a clear last turning, made many lengths in straight for a fast finishing 3rd.
6 LEVEL PLAYER (N323) Y T Cheng TT Slotted into a midfield role on rails 5ls back, soft run throughout, clear from 300m but could only manage to hold ground in run to line.
10 ST YAZIN (N409) T Berry TT Took a trail just off the pace, 3ls or so behind leader, had even run to turn, made a bid and looked a place chance turning, run ended inside 200m and just missed frame.
7 PEPPERMINT (M192) Z Purton TT No early pace, raced 6ls or more away on rails, kept to fence on turning, made some minor headway but never looked like threatening.
5 JIMSON THE BEST (CL016) T Angland B1 Slotted into midfield 4-5ls away in running line, no excuses in run, came wider turning, run ended at 300m and just battled thereafter.
13 ALPHA GRAND (N127) M L Yeung B-/XB- Average break, unable to slot in and posted 3 wide without cover in midfield, 5ls or so off lead, did work to turn, lacked required acceleration in stretch.
4 BACKBENCH BLUES (P096) G Mosse CP-/B2 No early speed, raced behind midfield 3 wide 7ls or more from lead, struggling turning, only passed tired runner in run o line.
12 GRIFFINDOR (P153) B Prebble H/XB1 Took a spot behind midfield in running line, 6ls off lead, pushed along turning, didn't get into it and struggled in run to line.
3 PERCY JACKSON (N188) T H So CP Enjoyed ideal run racing 1 out 1 back, didn't find much when asked on turning, folded cheaply in straight and dropped right off.
11 THE UNTOUCHABLELAD (CK398) H W Lai B Difficult to settled soon after start and pulled way forward to race outside leader, travelled a bit too well in an unsuitable spot and gave ground quickly from 400m point as a result.
8 ULTIMATE WINNERS (CL428) K C Ng B/TT Slow to begin, settled at rear, 8ls or more from lead, kept to inside to save ground turning, very little progress in straight possibly not seeing out extended journey.
9 GREAT STORIES (N181) K C Leung SR/H1 Drifted back from widest alley, raced 3 wide at rear 9ls back, came wider in straight but made no real headway.
