3 1 IMPERIAL ROME (N012) B Prebble TT Slow, cut quickly to rail at rear, well back entering straight, bumped and unbalanced 300m when shifted out to find run, kept on steadily to snatch 3rd on line.
4 6 CAPE CANAVERAL (N393) G Mosse TT Ridden forward to find cover, settling 2-back, 1-off back stretch. Made forward move wide from 600m, joint leader 200m, shifted in under pressure 150m, one-paced.
5 11 WITHINMYHEART (M176) K C Ng -- Slow into stride, cut to fence and rolled forward to sit midfield. Peeled out entering straight and kept on steadily.
6 7 NEW DEERFIELD (N005) D Whyte B/TT Outpaced, settling near rear away from fence. Taken wide turning for home, widest in straight, kept on without threatening.
7 5 PERFECT FINISH (N176) H W Lai TT Ridden forward but unable to find cover and raced wide thereafter. Kept on steadily under hard riding in straight.
8 2 LEADING CITY (CK298) N Callan B/TT Pushed forward from inside draw and with leading trio till forging ahead final turn. Caught 200m and weakened steadily.
9 3 TAI SING YEH (L037) O Doleuze B Taken back from wide draw and checked shortly after. Peeled wide turning for home but found little under hard riding.
10 12 SUPER FRESH (N194) T H So B Began awkwardly, recovered and rolled forward but wide back stretch. No cover from 600m. Shifted in 350m but spent force soon after.
11 8 NEW GLORY (CK304) A Suborics B Taken forward, slipping into box seat back stretch, then 2-back into final turn. Gave ground shortly after entering straight.
12 4 IMPERIAL CHAMPION (P416) Z Purton H/P Hard ridden to go forward, led from 1000m, dropping to 2nd final turn. Kept on steadily to 200m before tiring quickly.
