Racing Incident Report

After arriving at the Start, THE BEST WINNER was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon. He said he had the horse trotted up and after the necessary consultations the horse was passed suitable to race. On jumping, TUMBLER threw its head about. On leaving the gates, I DELIVER, which was being restrained in a rearward position, threw its head about. Approaching the 1200 Metres, I DELIVER became unbalanced when momentarily awkward just inside the hindquarters of RETURN A SMILE. CHARMING STRIDE made the turn near the 1000 Metres awkwardly, shifted out from behind MILLENNIUM LEGEND and went forward. Near the 600 Metres, THE BEST WINNER was steadied when momentarily tight inside BRAVISSIMO which itself was racing tight inside UNITY. On straightening, THE BEST WINNER, which had been racing tight inside BRAVISSIMO for some time, shifted from behind HIGHLIGHT. As a consequence of this, BRAVISSIMO was momentarily tight between UNITY which was giving ground and THE BEST WINNER. Just after straightening, THE BEST WINNER was unbalanced when endeavouring to improve between HIGHLIGHT and CHARMING STRIDE. About the 200 Metres, Y T Cheng (THE BEST WINNER) momentarily dropped his off side rein and about the same time dropped his whip. After the 200 Metres, THE BEST WINNER shifted in to improve between LITTLE PLAYTHING and HIGHLIGHT. BOLD VISION was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing.
