Racing Incident Report

A BETTER DRAGON began awkwardly and lost ground. GOLD MASTER began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped JUST TOO GOOD. SEVEN STARS was slow to begin. When the gates opened, WIN DANCER bounded in the air. With the intention of being ridden quietly from a wide draw, DR HAENSLER after beginning well got its head up and raced ungenerously when being steadied. Near the 1100 Metres, DANEPRINT was awkwardly placed on the heels of FIGS, shifted out and brushed FILEBO which itself was awkwardly placed inside the heels of WIN DANCER. In the middle stages, GOLD MASTER over-raced and passing the 1100 Metres was allowed to stride forward into the lead. Approaching the 1000 Metres, MILLENNIUM DAWN, which was racing fiercely, shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of DR HAENSLER which itself was racing keenly. AMBITIOUS MARJU and HAPPY HEROES, which were following, were checked off the heels of MILLENNIUM DAWN. MILLENNIUM DAWN continued to race fiercely and near the 800 Metres struck the heels of DR HAENSLER and blundered. At the 800 Metres, DANEPRINT was steadied when awkwardly placed between FIGS and JUST TOO GOOD. NEW TAMAR, which was following DANEPRINT, was steadied in consequence. Also at the 800 Metres, SEVEN STARS was steadied away from the heels of DR HAENSLER and shifted out, taking MILLENNIUM DAWN wider. Approaching the 600 Metres, A BETTER DRAGON was checked after improving close to the heels of GOOD TRIO, shifted out and bumped SEVEN STARS. On entering the Home Straght, DANEPRINT was steadied off the heels of FIGS. Near the 200 Metres, NEW TAMAR was shifted to the inside of JUST TOO GOOD to improve its position and in doing so bumped DANEPRINT. GOLD MASTER, HAPPY HEROES and FILEBO were sent for sampling. After the race, it was noted NEW TAMAR was bleeding from the mouth due to a laceration.
