Racing Incident Report
PERFECT MATCH began awkwardly, bumped the hindquarters of ALL OUR WAY and lost ground. TRAVEL LEADER began awkwardly, then was bumped by HARRY HARRY which shifted out. As a consequence, TRAVEL LEADER lost ground. Shortly after the start, ROYAL PORTRAIT and ROCKET AND GOLD were crowded for room inside ALL OUR WAY which got its head on the side and shifted in. Approaching the winning post on the first occasion, SUPER SURPRISE was steadied away from the heels of ROYAL PORTRAIT which was carried in by ALL OUR WAY which got its head on the side and shifted in. After passing the wining post on the first occasion, ALL OUR WAY was steadied to avoid the heels of SUNNY SMILES (D Oliver) which shifted in when not quite clear. D Oliver was told to exercise greater care. Entering the Back Straight, ALL OUR WAY was carried wider by SUNNY SMILES which shifted out. After this, ALL OUR WAY travelled wide and without cover for the remainder of the race. Making the turn at the 600 Metres, FORTUNE WARRIOR, which was racing tight outside ROYAL PORTRAIT, was checked to avoid the heels of ALL OUR WAY (C Velasquez) which shifted in when not clear. C Velasquez was severely reprimanded. From near the 150 Metres, TRAVEL LEADER had difficulty obtaining clear running and at the 50 Metres when endeavouring to improve into a narrow run between ALL OUR WAY and MEGA BULLET (C Lemaire), TRAVEL LEADER was struck over the nose by the whip of C Lemaire. After this, TRAVEL LEADER continued to have difficulty obtaining clear running in the run to the line. Approaching the winning post, SUNNY SMILES and ALL OUR WAY bumped. EVER KING and ROYAL PORTRAIT were sent for sampling.
