Racing Incident Report

On a number of occasions after the start, WHATABOB and CARE FREE MIDAS bumped. VILASOL was steadied away from the heels of HO HO LIFE shortly after the start. Passing the winning post on the first occasion, VILASOL became badly unbalanced when racing tight to the inside of MY WAY. Near the 1100 Metres, HO HO LIFE was checked away from the heels of YOUNG HERO. Near the 100 Metres, CLASSA, which was finishing off the race well, was steadied away from the heels of WIN A DOZEN when held up for clear running behind that horse. CLASSA was then shifted to the outside of the heels of WIN A DOZEN to continue improving. Near the 50 Metres, JOLLY WONGCHOY was steadied when racing tight to the inside of WIN A DOZEN which, after initially being taken in by WHATABOB, shifted in further away from that horse. After the race, J Lloyd reported that although CARE FREE MIDAS travelled a little keenly in the early stages, the horse was most disappointing in its failure to finish off the race. A veterinary inspection of CARE FREE MIDAS after the race did not show any significant findings. HO HO LIFE and MY WAY were sent for sampling.
