Racing Incident Report

On arrival at the Start, NORDIC ONE, which was reported to be kicked by one of the lead ponies, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said, after the necessary consultations, found that horse to be suitable to race.
HIGHEST ACCLAIM was checked on jumping when crowded for room between CHARITY JOY and ST YAZIN which shifted out. A short distance later, CHARITY JOY raced tight between ST YAZIN and GLORY HORSIE. In this incident, CHARITY JOY became unbalanced and lost ground.
SPEEDY SANDY was crowded for room at the start between MERIDIAN TREASURE and PRECISION KING which shifted out.
Passing the 800 Metres, FUN ‘N’ GAMES became unbalanced after making contact with GLORY HORSIE.
Near the 750 Metres, GLORY HORSIE was bumped by BUNDLE OF JOY which shifted in after being bumped by PRECISION KING.
Near the 550 Metres, BUNDLE OF JOY raced tight between PRECISION KING and GLORY HORSIE which was taken out by FUN ‘N’ GAMES. In this incident, PRECISION KING became unbalanced after being bumped by BUNDLE OF JOY.
At the entrance to the Straight, BUNDLE OF JOY was shifted out across the heels of NORDIC ONE to obtain clear running.
Approaching the 200 Metres, CHARITY JOY shifted out abruptly and bumped the hindquarters of GLORY HORSIE which became badly unbalanced. A short distance later, GLORY HORSIE, which continued to be unbalanced, shifted in resulting in CHARITY JOY being crowded for room outside SPEEDY SANDY which shifted out slightly under pressure. In this incident, CHARITY JOY struck the heels of SPEEDY SANDY and blundered. After this, CHARITY JOY then had difficulty obtaining clear running behind SPEEDY SANDY and inside GLORY HORSIE.
Throughout the race, NORDIC ONE travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of MERIDIAN TREASURE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
FUN ‘N’ GAMES and ST YAZIN were sent for sampling.
