When the Stewards were satisfied that there were not sufficient grounds, weighed-in was declared on the numbers semaphored by the Judge. |

| 7 | 3 | GORGEOUS VITALITY (G051) | Shortly after the start was crowded by ACE TALENT (L Currie) which shifted in and away from HAPPY UNITED. L Currie was advised to exercise more care. When questioned regarding the performance, Z Purton stated that his mount was crowded shortly after the start, but then was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event. He added that GORGEOUS VITALITY did not respond strongly to his riding in the Home Straight and after being bumped by A AMERIC TE SPECSO near the 50 Metres when that runner shifted in, his mount did not finish the race off strongly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, GORGEOUS VITALITY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Was sent for sampling post-race. |
| 8 | 6 | NISHIKADO (H172) | Shifted out and bumped with GOLDEN CHAMPION shortly after the start. Near the 350 Metres was crowded between GORGEOUS VITALITY and DIAMOND FLARE which made the turn awkwardly and shifted out slightly. |
