1 14 STRATHPEFFER (H095) Noted to have sustained a minor abrasion to the right hind cannon after the race. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 11 MISSION VOICE (H444) Near the 900 Metres when racing keenly was steadied away from VANTASTIC CHOICE. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 8 SUPER UNICORN (H481) No report.
4 7 LUCKY TOUCH (J203) When questioned, Z Purton stated that his intention was to hold a more forward position, but LUCKY TOUCH was slightly fractious in the barriers and then was slow to begin and as a result settled towards the rear of the field. He said making the Home Turn he commenced to improve into the event and after shifting to the inside of CELTIC TIMES near the 400 Metres he placed his mount under pressure. He added that approaching the 300 Metres he was disappointed for clear running between ISLAND GOLDEN and GOLDEN DARCI which shifted in and as a result directed his mount to that runner’s outside. He further stated that between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres he was unable to obtain clear running when improving into a narrow run between GOLDEN DARCI and FOOLISH HEART which was giving ground. He said approaching the 50 Metres he then directed his mount to the outside of MISSION VOICE to continue into clear running.
5 12 YOUNG HORIZON (G272) On jumping was bumped by SUPER LEGENDS which shifted in. Despite being ridden along thereafter failed to show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position.

7 9 VANTASTIC CHOICE (G401) No report.
8 1 SUNNY DA BEST (J118) After the race, K De Melo reported that his mount raced too keenly in the lead, particularly when VANTASTIC CHOICE improved to its outside approaching the 1000 Metres and as a consequence was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
9 13 ISLAND GOLDEN (H018) No report.
10 2 FOOLISH HEART (J054) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. After the race, K C Leung reported that his mount made an abnormal breathing noise during the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 10 GOLDEN DARCI (H470) When giving ground and racing tight to the inside of LUCKY TOUCH shifted in and made contact with ISLAND GOLDEN near the 150 Metres.
12 4 CELTIC TIMES (G230) Jumped only fairly. After the race, K Teetan reported that his mount would prefer a firmer surface. Trainer W K Mo agreed with the assessment of Jockey Teetan. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
13 3 D STAR (G374) At declaration time, Y L Chung was declared as the rider of both D STAR and SUPER LEGENDS. It was established that Y L Chung had a firm commitment to ride D STAR. As such, the Stewards permitted H Bowman to be substituted as the rider of SUPER LEGENDS. For this declaration error, Y L Chung was fined $2,000.
14 6 WINNING TURN (J163) Lay out making the Home Turn and near the 500 Metres was steadied away from STRATHPEFFER.
