Racing Incident Report

Pla. Horse No. Horse Incident
11 SPICY SPANGLE (J087) When questioned regarding the improved performance, Trainer W K Mo stated that at its most recent start the horse was disadvantaged when it jumped only fairly and the rider was obliged to make use of SPICY SPANGLE in the early stages. He said tonight SPICY SPANGLE was advantaged by drawing an inside barrier and being able to trail the lead without being pressured to do so. Sent for sampling post-race.
4 PARENTS' LOVE (H405) Sent for sampling post-race.
10 COUNTRY DANCER (H436) Crowded on jumping. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
8 SUPER SIXTY (J071) Bumped shortly after the start. Leaving the 600 Metres was taken wider when PLENTIFUL shifted to the outside of FUN N FUN TOGETHER.
7 PLENTIFUL (G400) Bumped at the start. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 HARMONY FIRE (E175) No report.
9 NIGHT PUROSANGUE (J510) Bumped at the start.
12 NOTTHESILLYONE (J383) Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and made contact with SUPER SIXTY.
6 FUN N FUN TOGETHER (J232) Between the 150 Metres and the 100 Metres raced tight to the inside of PLENTIFUL (M F Poon) which lay in. Near the 100 Metres FUN N FUN TOGETHER was then steadied to avoid PLENTIFUL which continued to shift in. M F Poon was reprimanded and advised that he is required to make a greater effort to prevent his mounts from shifting in when not clear.
2 NORTHERN FIRE BALL (J488) After the event, Apprentice E C W Wong stated that his instructions were to hold a more forward position but after jumping only fairly his mount did not show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position.
5 VICTORYTHIRTYTHREE (J216) No report.
1 SERGEANT PEPPER (E432) After the event, M L Yeung stated that the instructions were to hold a forward position but when unable to cross runners in the early stages his mount raced wide and without cover throughout the race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
