After the event M Chadwick reported that the instructions were to be more forward. He stated that CHAMPION METHOD did not show sufficient pace to comply with his instructions and he recommended to connections to step the horse up in distance for its next race start. |

Trainer T P Yung confirmed the instructions issued and stated that the horse, down in grade, he had asked Jockey Chau to follow the expected leader MEGA BONUS which had drawn next to FREE PONY across. |
